Sewing at your Home

Jan will come to your house or her office to teach you how to sew or how use your own sewing machine. You can either have private lessons or be involved in group sewing. Jan is very patient and will teach you at your own pace. You can make your own pillows, clothing, window treatments, bedding and much more.

Jan brings her sewing machine and other supplies to her client’s house. Jan does all of the sewing.

No- sewing window treatments are an inexpensive way to help you decorate or help stage your home. Unlike custom made window treatments, there is no sewing. The fabric is manipulated to create a professional “look” of custom made window treatments. Jan has been teaching No-Sewing window treatments for many years. She has taught these classes at Kennesaw State University Adult Education Department, and a large variety of other schools and locations. Jan demonstrated a few of her techniques on the Home and Garden channel.

Jan offers On-Line Decorating or eDecorating. can either use Skype, or Facetime that comes with an I-Phone to discuss your DIY project. You might also want to send her pictures on the computer, a flashdrive, an SD card, or a CD/DVD. She can then discuss the design questions on the phone.
